Fer Váy Vǖy (/ŋgɪ̋ɜːg/ /vɛiː/ [skilled] [affection]) is a subtropical Town located in the Voī̂mêē Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Fer Váy Vǖy is derived from the Goblin language, as Fer Váy Vǖy was founded by Cās Vú̄̄kī̄ 'Sophie Pumpkin' Joīnḱ Goīsh Ha̋nḱ Sēb Bēnḱ, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Fer Váy Vǖy has a yearly average temperature of 13°C (55°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -2°C (29°F). Overview

Fer Váy Vǖy was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1256, by Cās Vú̄̄kī̄ 'Sophie Pumpkin' Joīnḱ Goīsh Ha̋nḱ Sēb Bēnḱ. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Cās Vú̄̄kī̄ 'Sophie Pumpkin' Joīnḱ Goīsh Ha̋nḱ Sēb Bēnḱ.

Fer Váy Vǖy was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fer Váy Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Fer Váy Vǖy is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow paverstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Fer Váy Vǖy's robustly designed timber walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Fer Váy Vǖy is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.

Cultural Notes

Fer Váy Vǖy has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.

Fer Váy Vǖy's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length.
